With the coronavirus (aka COVID-19) continuing to escalate in our community, every local resident, family, and business is feeling the effects. Connecticut has been greatly impacted by the virus thus far, forcing public officials to take unprecedented measures to protect the safety of the community. Through it all, we want to reassure our customers that Air Specialties is prioritizing your health and safety while continuing to provide outstanding heating, cooling, and indoor air quality services to those in need.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us for any AC or furnace services in North Haven, Branford, and local areas.
We Are an Essential Business!
In an effort to fight off the worst contagion seen in Connecticut since the Spanish Influenza of 1918, Governor Lamont ordered the shutdown of non-essential retailers on Monday, March 23. Only businesses whose functions are necessary to the health and safety of local communities are allowed to operate during this time. We’re happy to say that Air Specialties is a state-designated essential business, so our services will continue to be available throughout New Haven County. You can count on us to be there and work safely!
We Take Your Safety Seriously!
Our entire business revolves around the health and comfort of our customers. Although we are known throughout New Haven County for always taking the correct safety measures before and during a service, we have updated our protocols to comply with new CDC guidelines. As a result, our service technicians have undergone rigorous retraining on the health and safety procedures they must follow while on call. Here are the steps we’re taking to ensure your safety:
- Field experts are required to wear protective gear, such as masks, gloves, and shoe covers.
- All frequently-touched surfaces, objects, and tools must be cleaned on a regular basis.
- Field experts are required to implement a no-touch policy with customers, meaning no handshakes or other forms of contact are allowed.
- Field experts must remain at least six feet away from customers, if possible.
- Any employees who feel unwell for any reason are required to stay home and recover — no exceptions!
Please Make Sure to Do Your Part!
We implore you, one of our most valued customers, to follow the same health guidelines and cleaning practices at home and in public to reduce the spread of germs and bacteria. Furthermore, our call center representatives will be screening customers who require any emergency HVAC services to ensure the safety of our field technicians, as well.
This virus will not stop spreading throughout our beloved community if we don’t work together to put a stop to it. Every person can make a difference! Our thoughts and prayers are with the affected families. Air Specialties will be doing whatever we can to help ease your burden during these tumultuous times.
